Densan Shipping Co.Inc.

As one of the most experienced and well-structured ship management companies in Istanbul, Densan has led the sector in numerous grounds. Technical staff are highly experienced and have been in the company for many years. At present, Densan technically manages two 58,000 dwt supramax bulkers.

 

Both vessels are classed by ClassNK. Since 1996, Densan has applied a Planned Maintenance Scheme onboard the vessels it manages supported by a special computer software which also allows Densan to accurately budget and finalize running cost analysis. Densan also places great focus on loss control, acc/inc/near-miss reporting and analysis. The same software is facilitated for these purposes and provides us with a broader picture to improve our system continuously.

Qualship 21 is a USCG initiative which aims to identify high quality ships and provide incentives to encourage high quality operations. 

 

On 20 May 2015, we have received confirmation from the USCG that one of our managed vessels has been qualified for the Qualship 21 program.
